Qualities of Successful Lay Health Educators

Angela and Doña Fela know that successful lay health educators have special qualities. Successful lay health educators know their communities well. They are dedicated to improving the health of their community. They enjoy teaching others, feel comfortable in front of a group, and know how to work with a group. They are also:

  • Willing to try ways to improve their own health
