Accessibility

The site is built so that everything can be read and used with a keyboard and a screen reader.

What we do

• Pages use semantic headings, landmarks and a skip link to the main content.
• Links and controls have visible keyboard focus.
• Text scales with the browser's zoom and text-size settings, and pages reflow on narrow screens.
• Colours are chosen for readable contrast, and the site follows the visitor's light or dark preference.

Known limits

Archived pages, PDFs and slide files reproduce the original documents. Where the original had a barrier, such as an image without a text description, the reproduction keeps the original wording and may carry the same barrier. We add descriptions and fix markup where that can be done without changing the original text.
