NHAAP Position Paper: Chest Pain Centers and Programs for the Eval. of Acute Cardiac Ischemia

This position paper offers recommendations to assist physicians in emergency departments, including those with chest pain centers, in providing comprehensive care for patients with acute cardiac ischemia (ACI). The paper concludes that the emergency care of patients with suspected ACI requires multidisciplinary vertically integrated programs for rapid evaluation of patients.
