Addressing Cardiovascular Health in Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders: A Background Report

This background paper provides an overview of cardiovascular diseases and it's associated risk factors among Asian American and Pacific Islanders. This background report was developed to examine the needs and opportunities for cardiovascular health promotion for AAPIs. It provides an overview of the status of cardiovascular disease (CVD) among AAPIs and shares knowledge gained from successful community-based projects across the country.
