    Project Rationale:
The National Cardiovascular Health (CVH) Conference, which was held April 11-13, 2002 in Washington, D.C., was a targeted means for the NHLBI to transfer and promote the utilization of science-based information to a broad national audience. Past NHLBI CVH conferences have been evaluated highly and uniquely served to bring together the medical, public health, government, and research sectors. The overall goal of the conference was to disseminate the latest health-practice guidelines and program strategies to the greatest number of health professionals possible, using all existing communications technologies, in order to promote cardiovascular health and reduce cardiovascular disease morbidity and mortality.
