It's as Easy as 1-2-3!

Get prepared in a flash with education activities and materials for your waiting room, health fair, outreach program, community talk, or workplace this May.

NEW Includes information from the new "Seventh Report of the Joint National Committee on Prevention, Detection, Evaluation, and Treatment of High Blood Pressure" (JNC7).

Go to the National High Blood Pressure Education Month Web site at http://hin.nhlbi.nih.gov/nhbpep_kit/.

Download a collection of f*r*e*e, quick-to-download, and easy-to-use materials for health professionals like you, including:

  • My Blood Pressure Wallet Card, which is good for handouts because of its convenient pocket-size. Main message to patients is, "I can do it!" to keep up the lifestyle changes that will help lower their blood pressure.
  • Fact Sheets also make great handouts, such as the newly updated Your Guide to Lowering Blood Pressure and Facts About the DASH Eating Plan.
  • Recipes based on the DASH (Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension) diet.
  • Activities to help you generate ideas that you can incorporate into your event.
  • Media Tools, such as a drop-in article for your local paper.
  • Mortality Maps to help you compare your community to surrounding areas.

Use, reproduce, and even reprint the materials without further permission. Please cite NHLBI as the source.
